The SDC Annual Awards Ceremony 2006 - Report

As part of a very special day of celebration, the Society of Dyers and Colourists' (SDC) annual awards ceremony was held at Cartwright Hall, Bradford, UK on 28 April 2006. As well as recognising the achievements of the recipients of Society medals and diplomas, the 150th anniversary of William Perkin's discovery and commercialisation of the first synthetic dye was also marked.
